TiverBuilt: Key to a Confident and Decisive Client & Women in BIM

In this session, Lindsay Prichard-Fox of TiverBuilt will discuss how getting clients involved early on can empower them and streamline the design process. She also interviewed Rebecca De Cicco, Founder of Women in BIM, to talk about BIM and how this ecosystem is changing.

What tools are we, as design professionals, giving clients to make confident decisions? Client indecision is one of the leading causes of project delays and rework. While many of us want to provide a refined and curated final render of our design, we’ve found that immersing our clients in our rough ideas ultimately streamlines the design process and we arrive at a final design faster.

By using Enscape to immerse our clients in our rough design ideas, we prevent design delays and rework early. Clients are empowered and provide important feedback. This means we don’t waste time developing a design to the finish level only to discover that we’ve missed key design elements. Additionally, this process demonstrates to the client the complex and necessary role we as designers play in construction development.
