# The State of Architectural Visualization 2024/25 Edition

A 2024/25 industry study conducted by Chaos, in collaboration with [Architizer](https://architizer.com/), gathered insights from 1,100+ architects and designers worldwide to explore the present state and future possibilities of architectural visualization.

The survey asked participants about their use of AI in design processes today, the challenges they encounter with current visualization technologies, the most common types of visualizations they create, and investment plans for the next 12 months.

Insights include:

- AI is here to stay, but is far from settled.
- Static-image renderings are still valued by clients above all else.
- Architects are struggling to keep up with technology costs and implementation.
- And much more...
